Today Jat Airways has celebrated the 50th anniversary of launching its scheduled air traffic to Rome. On the JU404/405 flights to and from the ancient city the Serbian flag air carrier gave its passengers presents as a small symbol of gratitude for the half century long loyalty. At the Belgrade airport Jat awarded a free of charge ticket for any of its international routes to Vana Vražalić, one of the passengers on the flight. The same prize was awarded to Vojislav Lekić at the airport in Rome.
Jat serves the destination between Belgrade and Rome with daily flights on the code-share basis with Alitalia. Such agreement ensured the Serbian national air carrier to receive recognition for the European flying standards and quality. Results produced through the "code-share" agreement are satisfactory while the cooperation is booming up. |
