JAT Training Center’s Certificates Renewed

The training of aviation inspectors, engineers and aircraft mechanics in JAT Training Centre has started on May 16 2006 following the renewal of certificates issued by the Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia & Montenegro. All textbooks and handbook manuals that are being used are in compliance with the valid European JAA (EASA) standards and procedures.

Light Aircraft Maintenance Centre in the Vršac Flight Academy possesses the EASA 145 Certificate necessary for maintaining and repairing smaller planes from the European Union. Aircraft from the fleet of the Greek business air carrier GAA - whose pilots have recently renewed their flying licenses in the institution - are also maintained in Vršac.

JAT Training Center have also applied for the EASA 147 Certificate which will, upon obtaining it, enable the centre to train commercial aircraft mechanics from the European Union’s countries.
