A Million Passengers in 2012

Today Jat Airways carried its millionth passenger in 2012. A million passengers in eight months and twelve days is the Serb national airline's record in the number of transported passengers in the past four years.

During the previous month alone, Jat Airways transported 184,784 passengers, which is 19% more than the airline carried in August 2011. By the beginning of September 2012, Jat had carried 940,283 passengers achieving an increase of 13% compared to the first eight months last year. Cabin load from January 1 to September 1 this year was 75% on average, showing a 5% increase over last year's average.

In June this year, Jat Airways carried, for the first time since 1991, more than 100,000 passengers, which is a June record for the past 21 years, while in May this year, 97,441 passengers flew on Jat Airways’ Euro-Mediterranean flights, which is the best result for May in the last 12 years.

Results for 2011 and the current 2012, in which the millionth passenger has already travelled with Jat by September 12th, and the number of passengers steadily increasing for the second consecutive year, are proof enough of the growing interest for Jat Airways' services.
