Record Number of June Passengers since 1991

For the first time since 1991, in June this year Jat Airways transported more than 100,000 passengers. The number 100,665 is a record in the past twenty-one years in Jat Airways' Euro-Mediterranean June passenger transport. In May this year, Jat carried 97,441 passengers on its Euro-Mediterranean services, which was the best result for that month in the past twelve years.

In June this year, Jat transported on its scheduled and charter services together a total of 134,969 passengers, which is 16% more than the company carried in the same month in 2011. Average cabin load was 74%, which is a 2% rise in comparison to last year's results.

Over the first six months of 2012, Jat Airways carried 575,363 passengers, which is 11% more than in the same period last year and, with a 7% increase reached 71% cabin load. The number of passengers flying toward Euro-Mediterranean destinations in the first six months of this year has risen by 11%.

Judging by results in 2011 and those of the first six months of 2012, the number of Jat Airways' passengers has been on the rise for the second year in a row, indicating growing passenger interest in using the Serb flag-carrier's services.
