More Passengers Carried in May than in the Past 12 Years

Jat Airways carried a record 97,441 passengers in scheduled Euro-Mediterranean services in May 2012, which is the best result for the month of May in the past 12 years.

In May this year, JAT's scheduled services transported a total of 112,273 passengers, which is 16% more than in the same month in 2011. Average cabin load is 78%, an 8% increase compared to last year.

In the course of the first five months of 2012, Jat Airways carried 440,394 passengers, which is 9% more than in the same period in 2011, while the cabin load factor rose by 8%, reaching 71%.

The number of passengers bound for European destinations in the first five months this year has risen by 10%.

Over the initial six months of 2011, Jat Airways achieved the greatest increase in passenger numbers and the greatest rise of the cabin load factor in regard to 2010 among fellow European airlines. This shows a general steady increase, for the second consecutive year, in the number of passengers flying Jat.
