JAT AIRWAYS SHOWS GREATEST RISE IN PASSENGER NUMBERS AMONG EUROPEAN AIRLINES

In the first six months of 2011, Jat Airways carried over half a million passengers, which is 19 percent more than in the same period of 2010.

Over the initial six months of this year, Jat Airways has recorded the greatest rise in passenger numbers and in the cabin load factor compared to last season's results of all European airlines.

Jat Airways transported a total of 518,999 passengers in the first half of 2011, which is 19 percent more than in the same period last year. The greatest rise in the number of passengers carried was recorded in Euro-Mediterranean services, with 509,284 passengers, i.e. 21 percent more than last year. The cabin load factor was 65 percent, which is 8 percent more than in 2010.
