Jat Airways introduces new service for its passengers

SOON, FREE HEALTH INSURANCE

In the following days, Jat Airways will start introducing new service for passengers traveling to the European Union Countries - free health insurance, valid during the flight and throughout stay at desired destination. Insurance Company DDOR Novi Sad, that offered best conditions on the public tender, will cover health insurance of Serbian flag carrier passengers, provided they purchase return trip ticket.

"By introducing free health insurance, our wish is to prove that our care for passengers is not only limited to the time they spend onboard Jat Airways planes", said Srdjan Radovanović, Jat Airways Director General, adding that "between numerous companies trying to win attention of every passenger, those that succeed will be those that take care of its passengers and that are trying to meet their demands in best possible way by constantly introducing new services."

Citizens of Serbia, whose health insurance cards are not valid in the European Union Countries, are obliged to have health insurance in the foreign country. Their insurance will be covered simply by buying Jat Airways return trip ticket and in case of emergency, help will be provided to them. The insurance cover of up to 5 thousand euros comprises the cost of passenger's medical treatment resulting from unforeseen disease or as consequence of accident that occurred during stay abroad. The insurance will comprise passenger's costs of necessary hospital or clinical treatment, medicines, medical supplies, transport to the nearest hospital, urgent surgeries due to acute disease, dental treatments due to acute problem, transport to the country of residence and other types of help.
