2009/2010 Winter Timetable

A total of 36 Euro-Mediterranean cities in 25 counties will be available to Jat Airways passengers over the October 25, 2009-March 27, 2010 winter season. During this period, the Serbian national air carrier will be offering 163 weekly frequencies as well as 80 weekly flights that Jat operates in cooperation with its code-share partners. Compared to last year’s winter season, new destinations include Malta, Tripoli, Abu Dhabi and Gothenburg, while the line to Warsaw was re-opened with a new partner – LOT. The flights to Malta and Tripoli were introduced during this year’s summer season, as well as the line to Abu Dhabi, whereas the Belgrade-Gothenburg-Belgrade line is due to kick off on December 19, 2009, and continue in operated through January 9, 2010, thus covering the Christmas and New Year holidays. Jat is to fly this line on Saturdays with departures from Belgrade at 8 a.m. and from Gothenburg at 11:25 a.m.

The largest number of frequencies – at least one flight daily - under the winter timetable will be performed on the lines to Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich, Moscow, Paris, London, Skoplje, Sarajevo, Podgorica and Tivat. The lines to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Rome and Istanbul follow with five weekly flights, to Ljubljana, Stuttgart, Berlin, Milano and Larnaca – with four weekly flights, to Trieste, Copenhagen, Athens, Thessaloniki, Brussels and Stockholm – with three flights a week, to Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi – twice a week, and to Gothenburg, Malta, Tripoli and Monastir – with one weekly flight. As was the case in the previous seasons, Jat will accommodate its passengers to reach Hamburg and Hanover via Berlin.

Passengers from Serbia can travel to eight European destinations thanks to Jat commercial code-share agreements on jointly operated lines with other national air companies. The offer includes 27 weekly flights to Vienna in cooperation with Austrian Airlines, 21 weekly flights to Munich and Frankfurt in cooperation with Lufthansa as well as daily flights to Prague in cooperation with Czech Airlines. Furthermore, in cooperation with Aeroflot, Jat has ensured two daily flights to Moscow and as many together with Air France to Paris. Jat offers 11 weekly flights to Rome jointly with Alitalia and five weekly flights to Warsaw together with LOT.

Connections involving European destinations to which Jat has no direct flight are to be realized in accordance with the existing agreements with Alitalia, Icelandair, Finnair, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, British Midland, Swiss and Czech Airlines.

Jat Airways offers to passengers bound for Australia and New Zealand, Beijing the Near, Middle and Far East and India favorable connections in cooperation with the companies that include Etihad Airways (via Abu Dhabi) and Lufthansa (via Frankfurt). Also, Beijing may be reached by flying with Aeroflot (via Moscow), Air China (via Frankfurt or Stockholm), as well as with Turkish Airlines (via Istanbul).

Connections for those bound to North and South America have been ensured in cooperation the companies that include Alitalia (via Milan or Rome), Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and British Midland (via London), Martinair (via Amsterdam), Swiss (via Zurich), Lufthansa (via Frankfurt), Austrian Airlines (via Vienna), as well as Delta Air Lines and United Airlines via European destinations to which Jat does maintain direct flights.

Africa-bound passengers can travel from Belgrade in combined flights operated by Jat Airways and Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines and SriLankan Airlines.
