Jat Tehnika Strike Ends through Serbian Government Mediation

JAT AIRWAYS AIRCRAFT AIRBORNE AGAIN

As of 1 p.m. today Jat Airways Company aircraft are back on normal schedule as a result of an accord reached between Jat Airways and Jat Tehnika thanks to great help and intercession of Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković. The accord envisages ways of settling the debts as well as that ground be laid for such relations between the two companies as would preclude similar situations from resurfacing.

"We are very pleased that the Jat Tehnika strike is over and once again apologize to all our passengers in the meantime for experiencing problems stemming thereof", Jat Airways CEO Srdjan Radovanović set out.

The Jat Tehnika strike that had grounded the national air carrier's aircraft began on the evening of Tuesday, September 29, and was terminated today at 1 p.m.
