Turkish authorities denied Jat charter service to Antalya
Turkish aviation authorities denied Jat Airways charter service to Antalya scheduled for 16th of May, 2009, although Jat submitted all necessary documentation. The Serbian flag carrier has no influence on this decision and apologizes to all passengers for the inconvenience.
In order to spare their passengers from any additional inconvenience, Jat and the renter of the flight Kontiki Travel Agency will provide the transportation of all passengers on Jat scheduled service JU 420 via Istanbul, on Saturday and Sunday.
In the time of the global economic crisis, Jat is surprised by the fact that Turkish aviation authorities didn't recognize the need for the contribution of Serbian tourist to their tourist offer.
The Serbian flag carrier hopes that the authorities of both countries will be able to resolve the newly created situation. Finding the solution is in the interest of both countries.
