Diskobolos 2008 Award

Jat Wins IT Award in Field of Finance

Data/Images/lalatovic_disko_s.jpgJat Airways won an international Diskobolos 2008 award presented by JISA (Union of ICT Societies Serbia) under the auspices of the European Chamber of Commerce and the European Association of Professional ICT Societies.

A jury of experts combining the representatives of chambers of commerce and ICT associations from the region, Serbian government experts and prominent businessmen presented Jat with a major award in the area of finance for the "Realization of credit cards payments over the Internet and Call Center" project.

In this way, Jat Airways became the first Serbian company to connect the Amadeus booking engine thus allowing the possibility of travel payment with Visa and MasterCard credit cards by accessing www.jat.com  or by dialing 0800-111-528.

Jat Assistant Commercial Director Srdjan Lalatović received the Diskobolos 2008 award on behalf of the Serbian national air carrier.
