Jat Support to Sky Srpska
Jat Airways extended full support to the newly-formed Republika Srpska state company called Sky Srpska during a meeting in Banja Luka on September 8.
It was agreed at the meeting between Jat Director General Saša Vlaisavljevića and Jat Commercial Director Vladimir Ognjenović with Republika Srpska Traffic and Communications Minister Nedeljko Čubrilović and Airports’ Director Velimir Bobić for Jat to support Sky Srpska commercially, logistically, staff-wise and through its Training Center. In this context, Jat is to offer assistance in obtaining two 50-seat turbo-jet aircraft to be used by Sky Srpska.
Joint strategic cooperation on the lines later to be defined has also been agreed during the meeting. This would provide an opportunity for passengers from this region to connect morning, afternoon and evening via Belgrade with major European destinations.
As also agreed, Airways would continue three times per week under winter timetable, too, the flights between Belgrade and Banja Luka. The times for the Banja Luka-Belgrade flights in the winter season would be moved by half an hour so that passengers from Republika Srpska could more easily access Jat destinations.
The issue of connecting Banja Luka with Istria and the Montenegrin littoral in the coming period was also examined.
All of the above-mentioned is to add new quality to servicing passengers in the region. |
