Number of carried passengers exceeds plan by 17 percent
In the seven months of this year, Jat Airways carried 780,813 passengers, 1,659 tonnes of cargo and 327 tonnes of mail. Compared to the same period last year, the number of passengers rose by nine percent. The cabin load factor (CLF) that stood at 64 percent went up by four percentage points, while the weight load factor (WLF) increased by three percentage points compared to the same period last year. Jat achieved a record increase in the number of passengers on charter flights – 25 percent. In July 2008, Jat Airways carried 201,986 passengers, 221 tonnes of cargo and 47 tonnes of mail. Compared to the same month last year, the number of passengers rose by eight percent. The CLF for this period stood at 75 percent. The planned number of carried passengers was exceeded by 17 percent. The CLF went beyond the planned level by four percentage points, while the WLF increased by nine percentage points, as the planned number of flight hours was exceeded by eight percent. By recording the best business results since 1990, Jat Airways has once again proved it has the potential of regional leader. |
