Jat, BH Airlines Promote Cooperation

Jat Airways' and BH Airlines' representatives in Sarajevo on May 21 discussed expanding commercial cooperation as well as ground and flight cooperation, including cargo transportation.

In conference with BH Airlines Director General Nudžein Rečica, Jat Director General Saša Vlaisavljević and its Commercial Director Vladimir Ognjenović expressed satisfaction over the talks on upgrading cooperation and stated expectations passengers would in the future fully benefit from facilities Jat Airways and BH Airlines line network have to offer.

In 2006, the two flag carriers agreed to jointly operate the lines thereby establishing a variety of commercial and other cooperation forms. Under the agreement, Jat Airways operate the flights between Belgrade and Sarajevo, but these flights bear the stamp of joint flights and also carry the BH Airlines prefix. In the coming period, BH Airlines is to introduce regular air traffic between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina capital cities. These flights would also be operated under the code-share principle.

Establishing cooperation between Jat and BH Airlines comes in logical consequence of the two countries' joint efforts to make use of the many opportunities this large regional market has to offer.
