New Uniforms for Jat Airways Flight/Cabin Crews as of June 1, 2008

Data/Images/img_2082_s.jpg After defining the visual identity of the Serbian national air company aircraft, logo and sign and presenting the first aircraft thus modified on January 12, 2004, Jat Airways will also be recognized for the new uniforms of its flight and cabin crews, commercial personnel and passenger handling workers.

Data/Images/img_2094_s.jpg Beginning June 1, 2008, Jat Airways pilots and flight attendants will replace their old uniforms in use from May 2001 with new, modern ones bearing the traditional Jat Airways colors. Developed in keeping with the requirements of modern design and fashion trends, and meeting the underlying demands – comfort and functionality – of the employees engaged in different company activities there will be two varieties of official uniforms: summer and winter (from October 1, 2008.). Jackets, skirts, dresses, trousers, shirts, aprons, scarves, sashes, sweaters and lined coats are the main elements of the female uniforms, while the male uniforms consist of the following basic elements: cap, jacket, trousers, shirt, clip-on necktie, sweater and lined coat. In addition, cabin crews for the first time will have rank insignia in keeping with the JAR-prescribed standards. The Jat Media Center has designed the company sign, the scarf, sash and buttons, something Jat has thus far had designed outside the company. Although designed in harmony with the demands of modern fashion trends, the new Jat uniform embodies a unity of tradition, contemporary corporate image, flexibility and decency.

Data/Images/img_2201_s_no1.jpg In this way, Jat Airways is setting the standards for its crews as an element of the standards rulebook as exist in renowned world air companies and is planning to open its own Crew Shop where the flight/cabin crews can obtain the necessary uniform articles.

By introducing innovations and supplementing its technical-technological development policy with the visual identity aspect, Jat Airways has taken another step towards re-asserting itself as regional leader.
