Under the Summer Timetable, Jat Airways is to fly to Tivat three times a week beginning May 30. The 66-seat ATR-72 aircraft will be departing from Niš to the Montenegrin littoral on Fridays and Sundays at 5:25 p.m., and on Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. The price of a return ticket on this line will be between 96 and 145 euros including all tax. Also, depending on the passenger demand, the Serbian national air company is prepared to increase the number of flights on the Niš-Tivat line during the summer season.
Jat Airways flies twice a week to Zurich from the Konstantin Veliki airport in Niš – on Thursdays at 3:55 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 p.m.
The company is also considering the possibility of opening and expanding to include other lines to European destinations from the Niš airport. In conference with the Niš airport management, Jat Airways Director General Saša Vlaisavljević and Minister without Portfolio in charge of the National Investment Plan Dragan Djilas announced during a visit to Niš earlier this week that Jat has agreed for foreign air companies also to fly from Niš as well as to extend Jat support to expand this airport. The talks also pointed up the role of the Niš airport – due to its favorable climatic conditions - as an alternative airport to the Belgrade airport. |
