Jat Wins Traffic Sector Best Exhibitor Prize

Jat Airways won a prize as best exhibitor in the traffic sector at this year's 30^th International Tourist Industry Fair held on February 28-March 2, 2008.

This is the fifth recognition that Jat Airways won at a Tourist Industry Fair in the past six years and the fourth in a row.

The Fair's Organizing Committee jury of experts awarded the recognition to Jat Airways, while Serbia's Assistant Economy and regional Development Minister Nebojša Skorić presented the prize to Jat Commercial Director Vladimir Ognjenović.

The "30^th International Tourist Industry Fair – Belgrade 2008" prize represents an apt solution in the form of a figurine executed in a combined technique involving clirit and metal. The Tourist Industry Fair's recognizable sign (suitcase) that dominates the figurine's central section is made of polychromatic baked enamel atop of which is an inscription on clirit with the exhibitor's category name in Serbian and below it also in English.

Prizes were awarded at the Fair for exceptional quality presentations in nine categories: for the national tourist organization, regional tourist organization, tour operator, health tourism, hotel industry, hunting and fishing, ethnotourism and ecotourism, traffic (air, railway, bus and rent-a-car), domestic destination and new technologies in tourist industry.

The competition criteria for categories were as follows: offer quality and exhibitor's marketing activities, presentation(s) at the stand or within the event's accompanying programs, contribution to the development and promotion of the country's tourist offer, tourist information and publicity material, general appearance, design quality and staff professionalism.

Jat Airways' tour operator - Air Lift – handed out for the Fair visitors a prize: a seven-day package arrangement for two in Tunisia. The prize went to Miloš Jamčić.
