Faster, Ameliorated Jat Passenger Service

Jat Airways switched on November 7 to the Amadeus Altea Inventory system that affords aircraft seat availability management according to tariff structure. The program offers passengers faster, improved quality service and has a direct bearing on the increase of company revenues. Jat is the thirty-third world air company to introduce the Altea system from among the two hundred air carries flying in Europe alone. In this way, the Serbian national air company joined the ranks with the leading world air carriers such as British Airways and Australia’s Qantas. A number of prestigious air companies such as Lufthansa and Air France, and their alliance partners, are yet to introduce this system.

The Altea program provides the answer to the two main demands modern-day air traffic must meet to be competitive - a new fleet and technological upgrading. Being the technologically most advanced and financially profitable air ticket sales management system, Altea allows Jat Airway to make quality-based decisions, and consequently become more competitive. Also, the move has increased Jat’s value technologically and opened new possibilities for quality cooperation with its partners.
