Trends in July

Jat Airways carried 186,480 passengers, 248 tonnes of cargo and 38 tonnes of mail in July 2007. Compared the same month last year, the number of carried passengers rose 11 percent, while the quantity of cargo dropped 5 percent as did also the amount of carried mail – 25 percent. The cabin load factor stood at 77 percent recording a rise of 8.5 percentage points compared to July 2006. 

Jat has exceeded the plan by five percent as regards the number of passengers. The quantity of transported goods was 30 percent less than and the amount of mail fell short 46 percent of the plan. The cabin load factor topped the planned levels by 9.4 percentage points and the weight load factor exceeded the plan by 13.1 percentage points, whereas the planned number of flight hours was realized 95 percent.  The offer parameters have increased in the overall traffic as compared to July last year by approximately 2.5 percent, while realization indicators showed an approximate 15 percent increase resulting in a rise in both aircraft utilization capacity coefficients.

Charter traffic has recorded the highest rise – the number of flights increased by 64 percent compared to last year's level, the number of carried passengers rose by 63 percent and the cabin load factor went up by 6 percentage points.

Flight punctuality, notwithstanding the up to fifteen-minute delays, stood at 73 percent, thereby recording an increase of eight percentage points compared to last year.

Flight regularity stood at 95 percent, an increase of 4.5 percentage points compared to last year's level. 

In July, Jat Airways aircraft logged 4,242 block hours, 4 percent up on last year's level. The fleet’s average daily aggregate in July was 10:10 block hours.
