In the June 11-17 period, Jat has recorded the best results this year in terms of physical volume of traffic as shown by all indicators as well as compared to the same period last year.
The figures show that a total of 29,000 passengers were carried, a 16-percent increase on the same period last year. Cargo and mail transport also rose, while 26 percent more luggage was carried.
Jat aircraft carried out 471 flights, recording 823 hours. Some 11 hours were recorded daily by the fleet.
Take-off punctuality was 66 percent, and landing punctuality 64 percent, notwithstanding the under 15-minute delays.
The cabin load factor over this period was 61 percent, a nearly 8-percent increase on 2006, while the overall aircraft load rose by 6 percent.
Since the beginning of this year, Jat Airways has carried 470,000 passengers, a nearly 5-percent rise against the same period last year when the Serbian national flag carrier carried a total of 445,374 passengers. The cabin load factor since January 1, 2007, went up 3 percent, while the overall aircraft load rose1.2 percent. |
