Jat Airways annual balance sheet for 2006 showed the Serbian national air carrier netted profits amounting to 3.8 million euros, or 299 million and 898,000 dinars. In 2006, Jat grossed 16 billion 685 million and 136,000 dinars. At the same time, the company’s expenses ran up to 16 billion 385 million 238,000 dinars.
In the January 1-December 31 period of 2006, the Serbian air company carried out 20,919 flights, or 16 percent up on the 2005 figures. Over the same period, Jat Airways aircraft recorded 37,086 bloc hours, or 15 percent more than the preceding year.
Jat Airways carried a total of one million 207,712 passengers, which is 17 percent above the 2005 levels, or two percent higher than planned.
The cabin load factor was 57.1 percent, which is 1.7-percent increase compared to 2005. |
