Jat and BH Airlines Sign Cooperation Contract

Jat Airways and BH Airlines (formerly Air Bosna) signed a "code share" contract on December 28, 2006, establishing different-type commercial cooperation and reached agreement on cooperation in other areas too.

Under the contract, air traffic between Belgrade and Sarajevo would initially be carried out by Jat Airways alone, but the flights would be treated as joint and would also bear the prefix BH Airlines. During the next stage of cooperation, BH Airlines is to set up regular air traffic between the two countries’ capital cities – Belgrade and Sarajevo. These flights would be carried out according to the principle of "code share" arrangement.

The two companies’ managements stated particular satisfaction with establishing such cooperation and believe passengers would in this way stand to benefit from the advantages offered by the flight networks of both Jat Airlines and BH Airlines.

Establishing cooperation between Jat and BH Airlines is the logical outcome of efforts the two countries in the region have invested towards making joint use of the numerous possibilities the large market in the region has to offer.
