In November 2006, Jat Airways carried 75,170 passengers, 307 tonnes of cargo and 48 tonnes of mail. Compared to the same month of last year, the number of passengers rose 14 percent, the amount of cargo dropped 8 percent as did also the quantity of mail – 20 percent. The cabin load factor stood at 51 percent, a 2.1 index increase against the same month of last year. The cabin load factor index rose by 1 above the planned level and the overall load factor index by 8.
In the January-November 2006 period, Jat Airways carried a total of 1,131,177 passengers, 3,244 tonnes of cargo and 620 tonnes of mail. Compared to the same period of last year, the number of passengers was up 18 percent, the quantity of cargo dropped 4 percent and the amount of mail rose 11 percent. The cabin load factor stood at 59 percent - a 2 index rise, while the overall load factor effected an 1 index rise. As regards traffic with Montenegro, the number of carried passengers was stepped up by 42 percent, and on the Euro-Mediterranean lines – 16 percent. The number of charter flight passengers dropped by 6 percent. In the eleven months of this year, Jat Airways aircraft recorded 33,673 block time hours, a 15-percent increase on last year’s levels. The entire fleet’s average daily flight-hour level recorded in the January-November 2006 period stood at 8:35 block hours, an increase of 21 percent against the same period last year. That the national air company is picking up is borne out also by the fact that, along with the upturn in the offer parameters of some 8 percent, a rise in the realization indices of some 12 percent has been recorded - a reliable pointer conducive to favorable financial results. |
