Beginning November 23, Jat Airways and the Emirates air company are introducing a line between Belgrade and New York. Jat aircraft fly to Hamburg three times a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. In Hamburg, special buses will collect passengers directly from the airplane and transfer them to the gate of the Emirates air company. The process is reversed on return flights from New York. In this way, baggage loss will be prevented, and the elderly or those with poorer knowledge of foreign languages may find this offer particularly interesting. The transfer takes slightly over one hour so that the connection via Hamburg is by far the easiest, most favorable and shortest, as this offer for New York flights outstrips the existing ones.
The tariffs Jat Airways is offering for flights to New York are far and away the most popular and economical. Promotional prices on the Belgrade-New York-Belgrade line via Hamburg for departures before December 14 start from 295 euros for a six-month return ticket, that is 320 euros for a twelve-month return ticket, taxes excluded.
Transportation of cargo between Belgrade and New York and vice-versa is also available, as Jat and Emirates have concluded an arrangement on cargo transportation.
Jat has been present in the US since 1971. Even though Jat has suspended flights on two occasions owing to the sanctions imposed, nevertheless, it has flown to this country for full twenty years.
Jat office in New York sells Jat tickets in combination with Europe-bound air carriers whose flights afford Jat connecting flights to Belgrade. The office is also to contribute to ensuring the conditions for establishing air traffic between the two countries.
The arrangement with the Emirates air carrier has presented Jat with one of the best-quality products as Emirates is at the very top in terms of both the service provided to passengers as well as punctuality of flights.
