Instead on a Catwalk a Fashion Show Held Aboard Jat Airways’ Plane

In the year when the flag air carrier marks the 50^th anniversary of the Belgrade-Rome-Belgrade flights, Jat Airways, in cooperation with the "Select" fashion agency, arranged an unrepeatable fashion show 10 000 m above the ground.

On October 27 this year within the ninth fashion week titled "Aqua Viva Fashion Selection" eight models, clad in items from the "Holiday in Rome" collection conceived by fashion designer Valentina Obradović for the fashion company "Afrodite Mode Collection", successfully moved along a narrow aisle of the Jat Airways aircraft on the JU 404 Belgrade-Rome flight.

After the welcome words and a cocktail party, organized by the Rome airport’s management, the models, in the interim between two flights, presented fashion items to traveling passengers at the Fiumicino airport.

On the JU 405 Rome-Belgrade flight, apart from media representatives, regular Jat Airways passengers had also an opportunity to see and cheer with an applause the models clad in fashion items from the "Iceberg" collection designed by Milan St. Marković.

It was the sixth day of the fashion week which is to end on October 30, 2006.
