Winter Timetable 2006/2007

In keeping with the winter timetable, Jat Airways will maintain flights to 26 Euro-Mediterranean countries in the October 29, 2006-March 24, 2007 period. The national air company will perform 170 regular flights per week on thirty-six lines. Jat Airways has another 74 frequencies weekly in cooperation with partner companies through code-share arrangements, making it an offer of 244 flights.

The Serbian national air carrier plans to establish lines to New York in cooperation with the Emirates air company. Beginning November 23, 2006, Jat Airways will fly passengers to Hamburg three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), where Emirates airplanes will take the passengers on overseas flights. The connection via Hamburg is the shortest, and transfers the simplest. This offer for New York is outstanding compared to all others for a number of reasons. In Hamburg, passengers from Jat Airways airplanes will directly board a special bus that will transport them to the gate of Emirates, and, vice-versa, on their way back from New York. The problem that frequently emerges in such situations - finding one’s way around and communication in a foreign language at a large international airport in a relatively short time -- will in this way be circumvented. On the flight between Hamburg and New York, passengers will be in a position to communicate in the Serbian language because flight attendants from Serbia working for Emirates for several years will be serving them.

Also, the tariffs Jat Airways is offering for the flights to New York are by far the most appealing and economical. Promotional prices on the Belgrade-New York-Belgrade flight via Hamburg for departures through December 14 start from 295 euros for a six-month return ticket, that is 320 euros for a twelve-month ticket, taxes excluded.

Emirates is one of the world’s best air companies, with a completely new fleet, superb onboard service and, especially, video animations. Modern Boeing 777 aircraft, with extended space between seats thus affording top comfort during flight, will be used on the flights to New York. Transportation of cargo is also possible between Belgrade and New York and vice-versa, as Jat and Emirates have signed an accord on cargo transportation.

Compared to last year’s winter season, Hamburg is Jat’s new destination.  Apart from this line, the national air carrier also plans to introduce flights to Basel.

The most frequent Jat Airways flights according to the winter timetable are those to Vienna, Frankfort, Zurich, Moscow, Paris, London, Sarajevo, Skoplje, Podgorica and Tivat to which it will fly at least once a day. A total of six flights per week are planned to Rome and Istanbul, and five to Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Tirana and Ljubljana. Four frequencies are planned for Prague, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Brussels, Stockholm and Copenhagen.  Jat will fly three times a week to Hamburg, Trieste, Athens, Larnaca, Beirut and Dubai. Two flights are envisaged to Goteborg and Tel Aviv, and one each to Basel, Malta, Tripoli and Tunis.

The most frequent destination is the one to Milan – as many as three flights a day – which our company carries out in a code-share arrangement with Alitalia.

On the flights from Niš to Vienna and Zurich, Jat Airways will fly twice a week.

Flights will be carried out with two Boeing 737-400, six Boeing 737-300 and four ATR-72 aircraft.

In cooperation with foreign air carriers, Jat Airways offers flights from Serbia and from Montenegro to destinations worldwide. An especially good offer stands apart for lines to all European cities in cooperation with the air companies Lufthansa and Austrian.

Jat will carry out traffic with Montenegro on two flights a day to Tivat and three to Podgorica.

Also, Jat Airways provides via Belgrade connections between Podgorica, Tivat and cities in the region, including Skoplje, Sarajevo, Ljubljana and Tirana as well as between these cities and Euro-Mediterranean destinations.

To passengers traveling to Australia, New Zealand, Peking, the Near and Middle East and India, Jat Airways offers the most favorable connections in cooperation with Emirates via Dubai and to Peking with Aeroflot via Moscow or with Air China via Frankfort.

Jat provides connections to North and South America in cooperation with Emirates via Hamburg, with Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, British Midland and Air India via London, with Martinair via Amsterdam, with Swiss via Zurich, with Olympic Airways via Athens as well as with Delta Air Lines and United Airlines via other European cities.

Passengers may travel by air from Belgrade to Africa in combined flights of Jat Airways and Emirates, Turkish and Srilankan Airlines.

The flight timetable is subject to changes depending on market demand.
