Entire traffic performed by Jat Airways in the first nine months of 2006 increased 19% in comparison to the same period in 2005 and reached the number of 962,232 carried passengers.
On flights towards and from Montenegro the number of passengers recorded a rise of 44% whereas in the Euro-Mediterranean traffic it was up 17%. The number of passengers on charter flights plummeted 8%. The cabin load factor in the first three quarters this year has come up to 59% and is higher for 2 index points in comparison to the first nine months in the year-ago period. In this period, Jat’s planes flew 28,172 block hours which is a 16% increase in comparison to the last year’s performance.
In September 2006 Jat Airways carried 120,768 passengers which is the 9.7 percent increase in comparison to the same month in 2005. The results recorded in September in scheduled traffic improved for 13.6%, in the Euro-Mediterranean for 14.7% while the percentage increase of passengers who flew towards and from Montenegro soared 10%. |
