In July 2006 Jat Airways achieved record results in its scheduled Euro-Mediterranean traffic having carried 104 thousand passengers in total, which is the highest number of the passengers carried in July in the last six years. Within this traffic Jat achieved the increase of 9% in comparison to the last year period.
On its 2303 flights Jat carried 168.3 thousand passengers, the 8% rise in comparison to the results realized in July 2005 meaning that the defined business plan for the month of July was surpassed.
In the course of July Jat recorded the load increase of the offered capacities – the cabin load factor (CLF) in all traffic reached 68% which is 2.5 index points beyond the plan.
The scheduled traffic was serviced with 12 planes with each plane having realized 11 flying hours per day in average.
Positive trends continued in the first week of August when 41.4 thousand passengers were carried, the 15% increase beyond the plan and the 14% rise in comparison to the same week in the year-ago period. |
