Best Travel Photo

To mark the 35^th anniversary of NEW REVIEW in-flight magazine in 2009 and its 200^th edition in August 2010, the Jat Media Center has launched a Best Travel Photo contest. The contest will remain open for one year - through June 2010. At the end of each month, entered photos will be shortlisted and overall winners will be chosen from these shortlisted entries. Shortlisted photos for each respective month will be printed in NEW REVIEW in the following issue while the overall winning photographs will be published in the magazine’s 200^th issue in August 2010.

Each contest participant may enter three photographs at the most. They must meet the following criteria: 300 dpi resolution, maximum size of not more than 3 MB and they must be in JPEG format. Each photograph entry must supply its author’s name, title of the photo, the place, time and loca-tion of the photographed subject and the type of camera used. Photographs should be sent by e-mail to the following address: photokonkurs@jat.com.

Prizes

First Prize: Seven-day stay in Tunisia (in sub-season) for two, with expenses covered, including airfare and tax

Second Prize: Two free air tickets on a Jat scheduled flight

Third Prize: Seven-day stay for two at the Prolom Banja spa along with an organised tour of Djavolja Varoš

4^th Round Results

A large number of photographs were sent in by October 12^th, 2009, for the Best Travel Photo contest. Of these, the jury - Status magazine Photography Editor Imre Sabo (Imre Szabo), as president, and NEW REVIEW photography editor Milan Melka and Jat Media Center art director Dejana Vranješ, members, chose the three they thought best.

The three best placed in the second round will also be considered when selecting the overall contest winner, which will be known upon completion of all 12 rounds in August 2010.
