Angels in Belgrade
- High culture is not and cannot be the object of neoliberal aggressiveness. The money earmarked for high culture - this means for the theatre as well - is there but is badly distributed. Perhaps this would have passed unnoticed if it had not been for the crisis. Best Travel Photo
To mark the 35th anniversary of NEW REVIEW in-flight magazine in 2009 and its 200th edition in August 2010, the Jat Media Center has launched a Best Travel Photo contest. The contest will remain open for one year - through June 2010. At the end of each month, entered photos will be shortlisted and overall winners will be chosen from these shortlisted entries. Shortlisted photos for each respective month will be printed in NEW REVIEW in the following issue while the overall winning photographs will be published in the magazine’s 200th issue in August 2010. Cultural Bridge
The Hellenic Foundation for Culture was founded in Athens in 1992 with the aim of promoting Greek culture and disseminating the Greek language. It has since created branches in Odessa, Alexandria and Berlin, and there are Offices of Representatives in London, Moscow, Vienna, Brussels, Washington and Beijing.
