Additional explanations and amendments concerning the public procurement T 07/12
Subject: Explanations and amendments concerning the public procurement on disposable blankets, disposable pillows and disposable headrest covers No. T 07/12 – JAT Airways
On July 8th, 2012 and on July 12th, 2012 we received from potential Bidders the following questions regarding the public procurement on disposable blankets, pillows and headrest covers for JAT Airways No. T 07/12:
1. Question No.1 - Please confirm if the sample is not required in these tender?
Answer No.1: Samples for subject goods are required, please see chapter 3., page 17., bullet 16. under SAMPLE.
2. Question No.2 - For the weight of disposable pillow, may I know if the 154gsm is total weight for the pillow?
Answer No.2: No, this is weight of fabric and the error was also made in number.
Due to the technical mistake we have made in tender documentation no T 07/12 where is stated (page 19.):
"Party no. 2 - Technical specification for disposable pillows:
Fabric: flame retardant polyester
Filling: 100gr polyester
Weight: 154gsm
Dimensions: 28 x 36cm (280 x 355mm)
Color: White
Certificate: Fire Retardancy Certificate, FAR 25.853(a)”
We are amending this into the following (see attached Tender documentation No. T 07/12_amended version, page 19.):
"Party no. 2 - Technical specification for disposable pillows:
Fabric: flame retardant polyester 145 gsm
Filling: 100gr polyester
Dimensions: 28 x 36cm (280 x 355mm)
Color: White
Certificate: Fire Retardancy Certificate, FAR 25.853(a)"
Also, the technical specification for disposable blankets in tender documentation no. T 07/12 (page 19.):
"Party no. 1 - Technical specification for disposable blankets:
Fabric: flame retardant polyester
Weight: 135 gsm
Dimensions: 1 x 1.5m
Color: NAVY BLUE
Certificate: Fire Retardancy Certificate, FAR 25.853(a)”
Is amended Into the following (see attached Tender documentation No. T 07/12_amended version):
"Party no. 1 - Technical specification for disposable blankets:
Fabric: flame retardant polyester 135 gsm
Dimensions: 1 x 1.5m
Color: NAVY BLUE
Certificate: Fire Retardancy Certificate, FAR 25.853(a)"
Based on this answer (answer No. 2) we have made an amendment in tender documentation. This amendment shall be considered as integral part of:
- tender documentation under technical specification for disposable blankets and disposable pillows (page 19) and
- Model contract for disposable blankets (page 34) and disposable pillows (page 39)

3. Question No.3 - For the headrest cover, could you please confirm the style is velcro tape style (see attached photo)?
Answer No.3: Please see the attach. photo for headrest covers, the required style is taslin style – one line.
Hence the technical specification for disposable headrest covers in tender documentation no. T 07/12 (page 19.):
"Party no. 3 - Technical specification for disposable headrest covers:
Fabric: 100% polypropylene
Weight: 50gsm
Dimensions: 280 x 407 mm

Positioning: Velcro – double sided

Based on this answer (answer No. 3) we have made an amendment in tender documentation. This amendment shall be considered as integral part of:
- tender documentation under technical specification for disposable headrest covers (page 19.) and
- Model contract for headrest covers (page 44.)

4. Amendment – Delivery Term (page 9.)
We have made an amendment concerning the delivery term on page 9. in tender documentation no. T 07/12:
Instead the following text:
"DELIVERY TERM
Parties no. 1 and 2 - Delivery of disposable blankets and pillows: 100% following signing of Contract given the required manufacturing time.
Party no. 3 - The disposable headrest covers shall be delivered successively, every three months:
First delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces
Second delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces
Third delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces.
Fourth delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces.
The Bidder is required to state in the Bid Form the precise Delivery Term for the headrest covers, expressed in days, from the date of contract signing , for the first of four deliveries. The dates of the remaining three deliveries shall thus also be determined according to the above frequency of delivery.
The Bidder is also required to state in the Bid Form the precise Delivery Term for blankets and pillows, expressed in days, from the date of contract signing.
The delivery term must include the time required for manufacture and transport of goods to Belgrade Airport."
The amended text is below:
"DELIVERY TERM
Parties no. 1 and 2 - Delivery of disposable blankets and pillows: 100% following signing of Contract given the required manufacturing time, but delivery time should not be longer than 60 days from the date of signing the Contract.
Party no. 3 - The disposable headrest covers shall be delivered successively, every three months:
First delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces
Second delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces
Third delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces.
Fourth delivery, quantity 300,000 pieces.
The Bidder is required to state in the Bid Form the precise Delivery Term for the headrest covers, expressed in days, from the date of contract signing , for the first of four deliveries.
Delivery time for the first delivery of disposable headrest covers should not be longer than 60 days from the date of signing the Contract.
The dates of the remaining three deliveries shall thus also be determined according to the above frequency of delivery.
The Bidder is also required to state in the Bid Form the precise Delivery Term for blankets and pillows, expressed in days, from the date of contract signing.
The delivery term must include the time required for manufacture and transport of goods to Belgrade Airport.”
